Full DayOur expertise in Early Childhood Education, combined with our strong camping program, enables us to offer a SAFE, FUN FILLED and UNIQUE summer experience for young children. Campers are under the careful supervision of mature staff that is well aware of the social, physical and emotional needs of young children. Counselors and Activity Specialists work together to make that initial adjustment to camp an easy one. Whether you choose the full day or mini day program, your child will get to experience all the Lower Camp activities offered at Ivy League Day Camp.
Pre-School and Kindergarten Lower Division Middle and Upper Divisions Campers entering 2nd and 3rd grade comprise Ivy League’s Middle Division and 4th and 5th grade campers compromise Upper Division. At this level we promote the same philosophy of structure and fun programming, but with a bit more choice. Whether your child enjoys kicking around the soccer ball, designing jewelry, shooting hoops or starring in the camp play, at this age we introduce Ivy League’s Options Program. Twice in middle division and four times in upper division; daily campers get a chance to choose to participate in the activity of their choice; once a day for 5 consecutive days each week. Athletic and Aquatic skills continue to grow and Middle and Upper Division campers will use facilities that are larger in scale, although still meet individual needs. Big League Games is an important part of the upper camp experience, where hockey, softball, soccer and basketball skills are set into motion in organized and fun filled teams. Middle and Upper Division Campers venture out of camp 2-4 times during the summer to such cool places as a professional baseball games, indoor sports complex, bowling and the local attractions.
