AquaticsIvy League Campers Love to Swim!!! Ivy League Day Camp’s Aquatics program is a premier example of what makes us so special. Our Swim Staff meets and exceeds the strictest qualifications, all being Red Cross Certified. Our Waterfront includes four state-of-the-art, heated swimming pools including Frog Learning Pool, Lower Slide Instruction Pool, Olympic Training Pool and Dive Pool. All of our pools have been specifically designed to serve various ages and capabilities of our campers. Whether they’re just learning to blow bubbles or ready to dive in our Upper Pools, Ivy League campers love to swim! And, they get to do it twice daily (one instructional, one recreational swim)! Instructional Swim
Our Waterfront fun is endless!! Every afternoon campers are treated to a Recreational Swim period. Based on campers’ age, skill level and camp division campers may have a double period of water fun! During this swim period our lower campers can get sprayed and splashed as they crawl through our Kiddie Car Wash (sorry mom & dad, no soap included), play in WaterWorks @ Ivy League, our interactive Splash Pad, slide down Mr. Toad, our beginner slide, or whiz down one of two Twisty Slides in our Intermediate Pool. Upper campers can spend their Recreational Swim simply cooling off with friends in our Olympic Pool or fly down our super fast Tube Slide in our Dive Pool. During recreational swim all pools are monitored by our trained lifeguards and “buddy checks” are done to make certain all children are accounted for and safe. Another Ivy League Day Camp aquatic attraction are our fabulous Bumper Boats! Bumper Boats are programmed into each camp group’s weekly schedule. Our youngest campers float and gently bump around in our child size Bumper Boat wading pool while our older campers bump, splash and get soaked in our NEW 4,000 sq foot, hand-carved, Bumper Boat pool designed to replicate a natural pond or lake.
