Kindergarten/Kindergarten Enrichment

Our Kindergarten program offers a wide variety of materials to meet and to challenge the needs of the children.  Our reading program is phonics based by using a Scott-Foresman book series. Each child can use independent readers, big books, and literature books during the day.  Math is taught through a First Grade series using a Silver Burdett and Ginn book series.  It focuses on addition, subtraction, clock, money, calendar and measurements.  Learning through writing and expressing ones thoughts in a log is part of our program.  The class has access to computers, a printer, and the internet. Science and Social Studies units are taught throughout the year.  The class goes on field trips and has a spectacular graduation. Our children will develop such wonderful self-worth.
First Grade will continue to light up their thirst for learning.

Kindergarten Enrichment

This program is offered twice a week and is phonics based. The children learn a letter a week along with proper handwriting skills.  Creative book reports and writing is also covered throughout the year.  Addition, subtraction, patterning, money, clock and other math skills are learned.  Science, social studies, and computer games are also an integral part of this program.  Many teaching tricks are taught to the children that last them a lifetime.  Each child is ready to enjoy learning in First Grade.
