Mini Day Program
Mini Day (1/2 day)
is offered for Pre-school through Kindergarten age children from 9 - 1:15. Our expertise in Early
Childhood, combined with our strong camping program, enables us to offer a SAFE, FUN FILLED and
UNIQUE summer experience for young children. Campers are under the careful supervision of mature
staff that is cognizant of the social, physical and emotional needs of young children. Camper
to staff ratio is 4:1. Mini Day campers must be potty trained.
Under the supervision of Janis Ventre, counselors and area specialists work together to make that initial adjustment to camp an easy one.
Early childhood sport experts teach all large motor activities on specially designed, age appropriate facilities. Whether at soccer, gymnastics, hockey, tee Ball or basketball, campers will learn their skills correctly.
Campers keep cool in our air-conditioned buildings while participating in our fine arts, computer, cooking, and story telling and music programs.
The highlight of the Mini Day program is swim in one of 5 heated pools. Swim instruction is highly individualized and most campers learn to swim before the summer is over. Campers properly learn their swim skills from Red Cross-trained Water Safety Instructors. After the swim lesson is concluded campers have tons of fun with their friends and counselors in our pools with Mr. Toad, Frog Slide, Water Bikes and our Fabulous Kiddie Car Wash.
